1. Once you have decided to rent 'Casa Las Jaras', the following steps are required:

a) Check the availability by sending us an e-mail.

b) All bookings are from Saturday to Saturday during mid/high season, unless agreed with the owner. Booking periods are flexible for the rest of the year, so please ask us if you wish to start and finish your booking on a different day of the week.

c) A booking deposit of 25% of the total cost for the duration of your stay must be paid when booking. This is non-returnable in the event of any cancellation by the client. The balance due must be paid -in cash- on arrival to the property. Keys will be delivered at that moment. It is therefore essential that you advise in advance of your estimated time of arrival.

2. Security/damage deposit is not requested. We do not take a security deposit from clients but operate on an honesty basis, should you break something we would appreciate its replacement and notification to us. We also expect that the property to be treated with respect and left in a clean and tidy condition. Please notify us immediately about any breakage or damage so that the items can be replaced or mended.

3. The villa is strictly non-smoking, but you are welcome to smoke outside - please dispose of cigarette stubbs safely and tidily to particularly avoid starting a fire in the surrounding farmland.

4. Insurance liability. We recommend that guests have full and sufficient travel, personal accident and medical expenses insurance. We accept no liability for cancellation, injury, vexation, distress, disappointment, or irregularities suffered by the guest. Luggage, valuables, and all other personal effects at all times and in all circumstances are at the guests’ risk.

5. The last 300 metres on the way to the house, you will drive on a track that does not have tarmac road. This road is well used by local home owners and easy to drive, but care should be taken -especially at night.

6. The cost of electricity, gas and water is included in the weekly rental price. Also all the wood necesary for the fireplace for the winter season. No hidden extras.

7. The letting includes bed linen and towels (2 per person). Please bring your own beach/pool towels. A washing machine, ironing board and iron are provided for your use.

8. The arrival time at the property should be no earlier than 4.00pm unless by arrangement. The villa should be vacated no later than 10.00am on the day of departure unless by arrangement.

9. WiFi. Because of the isolated position of the house there are no telephone lines in the surrounding area. The WiFi is therefore contracted through a mobile telephone company and is subject to a monthly download limit.  If this is reached, the service will then be unavailable until the following month’s allowance begins. This means it could be days or weeks later before you or later guests can access the internet. Please respect the capped download limit and be courteous to later guests by following these rules. Please limit your use to general web page browsing, email and messaging services.

10. The maximum occupancy of the house is four persons + a baby. Should the number of persons occupying the house exceed this number the owner reserves the right to refuse admission.

'The villa was as described; clean, very comfortable, well equipped and in a lovely position. The pool and terraces were perfect for private sunbathing, swimming, playing and outdoor dining. The coastline is about 25 kms away but the inland regions are much more interesting with some stunning scenery and pretty white villages. We enjoyed evening walks around the villa spotting eagles, buzzards and hawks overhead. I would recommend this villa for those who want to be in comfortable pleasant surroundings away from the crowds'.
